Road to Miss World 2011

Miss Word Sweden 2011 was crowned in a gala event at Grand Hotel in Stockholm, on Saturday, Sept 3rd. Co-hosting the event was Viktoria Silvstedt, Miss World Sweden and Miss World semi-finalist back in 1993.


The winner is Nicoline Artursson 18 years old from the city of Halnstad. A pre-pageant favorite, Nicoline’s victory was well-accepted by those following the event.

She will compete in Miss World 2011, in London, on November 6.

Nicoline Artursson was crowned Miss World Sweden 2011 at the National pageant held at the Winter Garden -Vinterträdgården- of the Grand Hôtel Stockholm on September 3, 2011. Nicoline of Halmstad is 18 year old. She will represent Sweden in Miss World 2011 Pageant, to be held in London, England on November 6, 2011.




The first runner-up was Malin Brattström





The second runner-up was Maxime Calington




The first runner-up was Malin Brattström and the second runner-up was Maxime Calington. The top five includes Sara Bolay and Helen Beyto. Miss World 2010, Alexandria Mills, crowned the new Miss World Sweden 2011. Julia Morley was also present at the the big final.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Nicoline Artursson (18, Halmstad) won the Miss World Sweden 2011 pageant held at the Winter Garden -Vinterträdgården- of the Grand Hôtel Stockholm. She will represent Sweden in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6. Malin Brattström was the first runner-up and Maxime Calington was the second runner-up. Sara Bolay and Helen Beyto completed the Top Five.





The contest, hosted by Victoria Silvstedt semifinalist in Miss World 1993, proved to be a turning point in Swedish pageantry with a well produced and elegant show staged in one of Sweden's most prestigious hotels. This is the first edition of Miss World Sweden under the directorship of Hagge Haghighi from the Swedish Beauty Contest AB.
