GB’s Top 15 favorites: the post-arrival list
It’s unquestionably one of the most competitive groups Miss Universe has had in recent history. A few days ago GB published its pre-arrival Top 15 list, which has partly changed after a few days of photo shootings and activities in São Paulo, the host city of Miss Universe 2011.
The candidates who remain in the list are Angola, Leila Lopes, Australia, Scherri-lee Biggs, China, Luo Zilin, Costa Rica, Johana Solano, Hungary, Betta Lipcsei, Kosovo, Aferdita Dreshaj, Malaysia, Debora Henry, Trinidad & Tobago, Gabrielle Walcott, Ukraine, Olesia Stefanko, and USA, Alyssa Campanella.
Five beauties are new to our list. Meet them:
ARUBA – Gillain Berry
Aruba hasn’t had a Miss Universe semi-finalist since 1996, and ever since Gillain Berry arrived in Brazil, it became clear that there’s a good chance this long drought will end on September 12. Tall, beautiful, pleasant, Miss Aruba will fight for gold.
FRANCE – Laura Tilleman
Wherever the Miss Universe candidates go to in São Paulo, this French stunner manages to standout and be noted by her beauty and radiant smile. She’s been gaining ground by the moment in the competition.
ISRAEL – Kim Edry
Naturally beautiful, Miss Israel has been collecting fans in Brazil with her perfect and angelic face, and sweet personality. Israel, one of Miss Universe’s powerhouses until the 1970′s, has a good chance to relive the good oldl times in 2011.
NICARAGUA – Adriana Dorn
It’s hard to miss Nicaragua’s elegance and perfect face. She’s been compared to Peru’s own Marju Mantilla, one of the most beautiful women to be crowned Miss World, back in 2004. Will Nicaragua finally reach the top 5 in Miss Universe?
PHILIPPINES – Shamcey Supsup
After a decade “in the dark”, it looks like the Philippines has managed to be back on track, and shall compete strongly for the second consecutive year in Miss U. Shamcey is very charming and as one of the faces of the competition. Like in 2010, the pageant-fanatic Filipino fans have good reasons to rave about.
